I'm Michaela Sparrow, a degree-qualified naturopath, clinical nutritionist, and anti-ageing medicine practitioner.

I hold a Bachelor of Health Sciences, a Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine, and a Graduate Certificate in Culinary Nutrition Science.

My approach looks at the whole picture: how your gut, hormones, liver, adrenals, thyroid, and nervous system are interacting, and where the breakdown is happening.

I have yet to meet a woman who has unlimited time, perfect sleep, and no competing demands.

Your treatment plan takes into account your schedule, your stress load, your food preferences, and your capacity. Sustainable means doable, not perfect.

I explain everything. What's driving your symptoms, what the testing shows, what we're doing about it and why.

You leave every appointment knowing more about your own body than when you walked in.

My approach

I use naturopathy, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, and functional medicine together, looking at your full health picture: symptoms, health history, diet, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and relevant pathology. Everything in the body is connected, and I work across gut health, hormones, liver function,

adrenal health, thyroid, nervous system, and metabolism to find where the breakdown is actually happening.

Where standard pathology doesn't give us the full picture, I use functional testing and DNA analysis to go deeper.

The 80/20 rule runs through everything I recommend. Restriction and perfectionism are not health strategies, and I'm not here to make you miserable.

I want you eating well most of the time, enjoying your life the rest of the time, and feeling good about both.

Meet your practitioner

I'm Michaela Sparrow, a naturopath, clinical nutritionist, and certified anti-ageing medicine practitioner with 8 years in clinical practice. I hold a Bachelor of Health Sciences, a Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine, and a Graduate Certificate in Culinary Nutrition Science. I'm also the Australian Nutrition Ambassador for MyFitnessPal.

Before I was a clinician, I was a patient. In my mid-late 20s I was overweight despite going to the gym every day and eating what I believed was healthy. I was exhausted, waking through the night, anxious, depressed, inflamed and being told by mainstream doctors there was nothing wrong with me.

Well it turned out, I was in fact, a hot mess.

Insulin resistance, oestrogen dominance, adrenal dysfunction, hypothyroidism, and terrible gut health (years of antibiotics as a child had left lasting damage).

Once I identified and treated the root causes, I lost a significant amount of weight, sorted my sleep, balanced my hormones and felt like a completely different person.

That experience shapes everything I do. I'm passionate about teaching women how their bodies work, because when you understand what's driving your symptoms, you stop feeling like your body is working against you. That's where real, lasting change starts.

I believe in living a real life, not a perfect one, and I live an 80/20 life.

The 80/20 rule isn't just something I prescribe to my clients. It's how I live.
